lose weight, the advice everyone in general is 'you have to exercise if you
want skinny'. With
that benchmark, the sport began to do and expect the numbers on the scales

The whole point of HIIT is not running on the treadmill or something, but what is important is the heartbeat interval, high and low alternating constantly. So it can be done from any exercise to meet the principle of HIIT.
